Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate roofing estimates based on information provided - Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required - Collaborate with project managers and estimating team to gather necessary information for estimating purposes - Analyze project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor bids - Identify potential cost-saving opportunities - Analyze detailed take-offs to ensure project safety, adherence to roofing specs and profitability - Present cost estimates to management Requirements:
- Proven experience (2
years) as a commercial roofing estimator - Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes - Knowledge of TPO, PVC, and fluid-applied systems and specifications - Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail - Strong communication skills - Ability to work in teams and independently and meet deadlines - Knowledge of cost control techniques and strategies - Knowledge of Excel and PDF Job Type:
